LEVEL PAY

Level pay allows customers more control over utility bills by averaging heating costs throughout the year so that they always know how much their gas bill will be. We look at your usage over the past 12 months to figure an average. Payment plans are reviewed periodically and subject to modification based on usage and price changes.

PRE-BUY

Our pre-buy program is the best option for customers. This program allows you to purchase a set amount of gallons for the coming heating season at a locked in price. Pre-buy contracts are usually offered in the late summer. The locked in price protects customers from the usual spikes in propane prices during the winter months. Our pre-buy contracts must be paid for in full at the time of initiation. Call the office for more details!

EZ PAY

EZ Pay allows customers to establish a credit or debit card on their account to be charged whenever they receive propane. No more bills in the mail to worry about! Call the office for more details on EZ Pay.

What if I Smell A Gas Leak?

If you smell a leak, immediately evacuate everyone from the building and call your local propane supplier or the fire department from a phone outside the building. DO NOT remain in the building, DO NOT use the telephone or light switches or try to determine the source of the leak by yourself. SHUT OFF THE GAS SUPPLY, using the shut-off valve at the tank or cylinder. TURN THE VALVE HANDLE CLOCKWISE TO SHUT OFF.

  1. No Flames Or Sparks! Immediately put out all smoking materials and other open flames. Do not operate lights, appliances, telephones, or cell phones. Flames or sparks from these sources can trigger an explosion.
  2. Leave The Area Immediately! Get everyone out of the building or area where you suspect gas is leaking.
  3. Shut Off The Gas. Turn off the main gas supply valve on your propane tank, if it is safe to do so. To close the valve, turn it to the right (clockwise).
  4. Report The Leak. From a neighbor’s home or other nearby building away from the gas leak, call LinGas at 800-768-6612 right away. If you can’t reach your propane retailer, call 911 or your local fire department.
  5. Do Not Return To The Building Or Area until LinGas determines that it is safe to do so.
  6. Get Your System Checked. Before you attempt to use any of your propane appliances, LinGas must check your entire system to ensure that it is leak-free.

Be aware of where gas service lines are located, especially when working in your yard.

Water can damage the internal safety mechanism in the gas controls of an appliance. If you suspect that your appliance gas controls may have gotten wet (because of flooding, for example), have a trained technician replace them immediately.
